If you've never been to a chiropractor, you're in the right place. For those that have had chiropractic care in the past, you're going to love our simple, 2-day approach.
Once you walk through the doors of The Chiro Health Spa of Ramsey, you become our top priority. We'll introduce you to our staff and have you fill out our initial paperwork (have a cup of coffee on us in the meantime). When you're done, we'll give you a tour of the office and seat you in our private consultation room.
From there, it's your time. You'll meet with one of our doctors one-on-one to review all the details of your health history - no stone will be left unturned. We'll do a thorough exam in which we'll observe your range of motion, posture, muscles and reflexes. A set of spinal x-rays (if needed) will complete our picture and give us the most accurate assessment of your current health status.
We'll then discuss how we'll use that information to come up with your treatment plan, set an appointment for your next visit, and give you any instructions you'll need before then. (Note - it's always a good idea to have a spouse or significant other along for the next visit if possible. We're all about a team effort when it comes to health.)
In between Day 1 and Day 2, we've analyzed your x-rays, reviewed your exam findings, and come up with what we think will be the most effective plan to get you well as quickly as possible. On Day 2, we'll deliver all that information so you know exactly what needs to be done to get there.
First up is reviewing your x-rays with you. They're like your "You Are Here" map in the mall - they show us where you stand right now. We'll highlight the important points and give you a complete understanding of what stresses your body has been under.
Once you've seen your x-rays, we'll do our first chiropractic adjustment. There's no surprises - we tell you what to expect every step of the way. We're going to take a picture of you before and after the adjustment so you see exactly how your body responds. The extent of your improvement on that first adjustment will tell us how frequently you will need to come for the initial portion of care (known as the relief care stage).
We'll then review our full care plan with you, go over financial and insurance details, and get your schedule set. If there's anyone you've been looking to invite to our office, let us know at that time. You're now part of the family. Welcome aboard!
